New Opened Chamdo Highway
The new opened Chamdo highway on Oct. 23 connects Rabqen Town and Xia Lingka Town in Zogang County. It standed for that now highways were fully covered in total 138 towns in Chamdo City, Tibet.
This highway project is leaded by Chamdo municipal committee and municipal government as well as the Communications Department of Tibet Autonomous Region. It started construction last year on September 1, and it opened to traffic ahead of schedule on Oct. 23, 2016. The length of this high way is 36,233 KM and it has the standard of level 4 highway technology. Sand gravel covered along the road.
