Dadong village, Liuwu area, Lhasa will hold the first Lhasa peach blossom festival on May 1st
Lhasa peach Blossom Festival-This year, Liuwu area and rural folk culture tourism Co. Ltd will plant nearly 6000 peach trees covering over a thousand acres. As one of the most well-preserved ancient village in Tibet, Dadong village displays its long history through old trails, ancient trees, ancient temples, manor resort and ancient myths and legends. On the other hand, Dadong villagers enjoy a comfortable modern life while allowing visitors to experience the pure Tibetan folk customs. In order to improve villagers living condition, the local authority will carry out the second stage of the Dadong village construction in 2017. For example, they will build the rural resort conference center, rural Bed and Breakfasts(B&B), self-driving car base camp and Dadong ocean flower and other projects. Moreover, the Dadong peach blossom cultivation will be the focus project.
